Can we meet you please?
I am Dr. Fidelia Nwamaka Ajagbe. A Teacher. Married with two daughters.
What does Christmas mean to you?
Christmas is a day set aside by Christians to remember the birth of Jesus into the world.
Is there more to Christmas aside the celebration?
Christmas is not about celebration in terms of eating, drinking winning and all. It signifies God’s love to humanity revealed.
What is the Biblical interpretation of Christmas?
Its found in John 3:16.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Are Christians exhibiting the core values of Christmas?
Love, forgiveness, sharing or giving are some of the core values of Christmas. A large number of Christians are not exhibiting these core values in my opinion.
What are the best ways Christians can utilise the festive period?
This period can best be utilized by Christians to make peace with one another, soul-winning, giving to the less privileged, involve in doing good generally.
A lot of people make resolutions every New year, few amongst them stick and practice these resolutions.
What does New year resolution mean to you?
I don’t believe in New Year Resolution, but I think it involves wanting or desiring to make amend of certain things in ones life that one sees as not so good. Trying to right some wrong behaviors or actions
How can one successfully abide to a New year resolution?
I think one needs to commit ones way unto the Lord, and trust also on Him to bring it to pass Psalm 37:5. Total dependence on God and not on the arm of flesh will help immensely
Must a resolution always come in a New year?
A resolution should not always be made in the new year only.
How is the church assisting Christians especially youths to live by positive resolutions?
The Church is not the building. So the leaders of the Church can assist members especially the youths to live by positive resolutions by,
Being good role models
Showing genuine love to others.
Preaching the undiluted Word of God.
Doing what they preach, among others.
Aside work what do you do during your leisure time?
I love reading & listening to music.
Your advice to youths, many who still don’t know GOD.
My advice to youths especially those who don’t know God is to draw near to God toady by accepting Jesus as their personal Lord & Saviour because tomorrow maybe too late. Procrastination can be very dangerous, John 3:3. Ecclesiastes 12:1 says, Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth.
Thank you for having me. God bless you richly in Jesus’ Name. As you celebrate in this season, make sure you remain Rapturable!!!
